Some Finished Knitting Projects

Over the last six months or so my propensity for knitting has greatly increased, and I thought I'd share a few of the things I have completed recently....

Maluka Downpour

Loved this pattern.  It knit up fairly quickly and the yarn was so soft! (Blue Moon Fiber Arts - Seduction) You can see additional pictures and read my notes on my Ravelry page

Mom's Request

In October, my mom was buying me some yarn for my birthday (at Twisted) and saw a bunch of finished fingerless gloves around the shop.  Of course she requested that I make her some, and these were what I came up with.  You can see another picture and read my notes on my Ravelry page.

Pretty in Pink Kleio

This was my mom's Christmas present last year.  I finished it JUST in time.  I loved working with this yarn, it was very soft and squishy.  I have more pics and some notes on my Ravelry page

Redwood Bias Scarf

This is my most recently finished item and I LOVE IT!  The yarn (Knit Picks - Shadow) is so soft and the pattern created such a lovey soft and drapey scarf.  It's the perfect accessory for any weather.  I have another one started that I keep in my purse at all times.  The pattern is so simple that it makes the perfect 'take-along' project.  I'm thinking about making a bunch of these for Christmas.  I don't have any additional pics or info posted on Ravelry, but if you are a Raveler and want to check out the patten etc., here is my project page

Below is a picture of the project (Citron) I'm currently working on.... and madly trying to finish soon.  Can you guess when I started it?  (I set it aside for almost six months!)

What have you been knitting lately?

  1. I love the lace insert! I am finishing some crochet projects before I start knitting- winter is eminent here(South Africa), and I love to bury myself under knitting when it is cold:)

    1. Hi Santie,
The shawl with the lace insert (Kleio) was a lot of fun to knit because it had some challenging elements that kept things interesting. I think I may make another one for myself sometime. It's getting HOT here (southern USA). Not the best knitting weather but that won't stop me! :)
